What to expect

Children will embark on a space-themed journey of discovery, exploring rockets, planets and stars through hands-on activities, games, crafts, songs and stories.

It is a fun, safe and supervised week designed to help children learn, play and make friends at the start of the summer holidays.

The cost is £150 for the full week. A discount is available for children receiving free school meals, and some bursary places are available. Please contact us if you would like to speak to us about this.

FAQs

My child can no longer attend. Is my place refundable?

Please notify us as soon as possible if your child is not able to attend. We will not be able to issue a refund after 1 July.

What can my child expect each day?

Each day will include a variety of activities, with some led by our own team and others provided by special guests such as magicians, drummers and space experts.

How long is each day?

The day begins at 10am and finishes at 3pm.

My child is going into Year 1 in September. Can they sign up?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children just finishing Reception this year.

Do I stay with my child?

No. Children are left with our team for the day. We will have a large team of volunteers, all of whom will be fully DBS checked, with first aiders on site each day.

Is lunch provided?

No. Please send your child with a nut-free packed lunch. We will provide snacks and drinks at break times.

Will younger children be with older children all day?

No. Children will be divided into age-appropriate groups for activities.

What should my child wear?

Children should wear comfortable clothes. Your payment includes a Holiday Club t-shirt, which can be worn each day. If the weather is hot, please apply sunscreen before arrival and send your child with sunscreen to top up during the day.

Do I need to send my child with a bag?

If you would like to send extra items, such as hats or jumpers, please make sure everything is labelled and packed in a bag.

Can I book for one day?

No. Children need to be booked for the full week.

Can I park to drop my child off?

Unfortunately, parking is not available on site. The nearest town centre car parks are Drovers Way and Christopher Place.
