St Albans Cathedral Music Trust

St Albans Cathedral is a centre of musical excellence with the finest choirs in the country, a magnificent Harrison & Harrison organ and busy programme of musical events and concerts.

Unlike many cathedrals, St Albans has no historical endowment to support its music. The St Albans Cathedral Music Trust funds music at the Cathedral, with a keen objective of sustaining its choral music to the highest quality. The Trust also aims to raise funds to support the Cathedral's planned Partnership Programme, to take this excellence into the community.

Join us on 12 March 2026 at Hatfield House for the 30th Anniversary Dinner & Concert, supporting the St Albans Cathedral Music Trust and its Excellence for Everyone campaign, helping to support the world-class music at the Cathedral is sustainable and to take the cathedral music beyond the Cathedral’s walls to new places.

  1. To ensure the activity of the Cathedral music programme is sustainable, inclusive and nationally and internationally recognised for excellence in everything it does.
