Turbulent Tudor Times (Tour) Turbulent Tudor Times From the last Tudor abbots through a century of religious reform, this tour tells the turbulent story of the English Reformation and its impact on the Abbey and the people associated with it. Using unique documents from the archives and evidence in the building, the themes of change and survival are explored as the Abbey survived the Dissolution in 1539 and adapted to the changing circumstances under successive Tudor monarchs.
