Rogues and Rebels (Tour)

From murder, witchcraft and heresy to challenging the laws and norms of their day, this tour tells the stories of those men and women associated with or depicted within the Abbey Church who, over the centuries, followed their own path.

It explores the theme of courage in the face of oppression, sometimes from the state or the church and tells stories of how justice has been meted out over the centuries not only for criminal actions but also for those whose beliefs did not accord with the laws of their day.
