It was our great pleasure to welcome The Willow Foundation to St Albans Cathedral for their annual Carol Concert last night. Well over 500 people filled the nave and were royally entertained by uplifting singing from The Hertfordshire Chorus and Bishop Hatfield Girls’ School Choir. This special 25^th anniversary service was attended by Bob Wilson who founded Willow with his late wife Megs in 1999 following the tragic death of their daughter. Since then the charity has given over 22,000 special day experiences and gift hampers to family members with a terminally ill loved one. The service was led by The Revd Will Gibbs, Canon for Mission and Pastoral Care and attended by the High Sheriff , Annie Brewster, and Willow Celebrity Patrons, David and Frankie Seaman.
