We had a wonderful end of year service for Abbey Primary School today. They have weekly services at the Cathedral but this was one of the termly Eucharists, these are important as the children get to experience a full service at the crossing. This was particularly special service as it was the last for the Year 6’s. Fr Calum, Youth Chaplain, Anna Children and Families Worker, and the rest of the team have got to know these children so well over their time at the school and it was a moving moment as they all came up to the High Altar to receive a blessing. We send them off with our prayers for the next steps in their journey.
