Come and see what makes St Albans Strong! All across St Albans, people are working to support others and the environment, helping solve problems of which many of us are simply unaware. On Saturday 25 October the Cathedral is privileged to welcome more than 60 local charities and community groups to share their extraordinary and very necessary work. This is the 3rd St Albans Community Showcase. There will be volunteer motorcyclists who courier blood for the medical services; the group working to preserve and revive our River Ver; people helping the homeless on our streets; groups providing support to those with serious health or mental health problems and those who care for them; and many, many others. The Showcase is free and is a great opportunity to discover more about our strong St Albans community. Will Gibbs, Canon for Mission and Pastoral Care, writes “I find it totally inspiring to see what people are doing in our city to help others. I’m really proud that we are able to support and partner with them, and I’m very much looking forward to meeting everyone again at the event". Find out more Manage Cookie Preferences
