On Saturday the acting Bishop of St Albans, Richard Atkinson, awarded the Order of St Alban to four people from across our Diocese, John Truscott, Lynne Griffiths, Michael Taylor and our very own Julia Low. This award is in recognition of significant service in the Diocese.

We are grateful to Julia who has been a long-time Guide, including being Chair, is Secretary to the Fabric Advisory Committee, and took a lead in the nave wall paintings project. 

The Service was a wonderful celebration of so many ways that volunteers contribute to our church communities.
