Thank you and farewell to Cathedral Acting Assistant Director of Music

Easter Sunday was the last day on the Cathedral music staff team for Ben Collyer, our Acting Assistant Director of Music. Ben has been with us since last September, and now leaves with the arrival this term of Dewi Rees, our new Assistant Director of Music. 

Ben is an excellent organist, conductor, and choir trainer and has been very popular in our Cathedral community. On Easter Day, at the conclusion of services, the choristers gave him gifts and there were great rounds of applause from all gathered.

Thank you so much Ben for the gift of your music and leadership among us. We wish you well for all that is ahead, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
